ProExtender: Real Means to an End

The Basics

A mechanism, the ProExtender, uses the principle of traction to stimulate the human body’s natural reaction of adapting to an applied force. Tissue cells are caused to divide and multiply, by applying constant tension to a body part, gradually expanding the tissue. This practice is also noticed in some African and South American tribes that practice neck, lip and ear lengthening.

Construction

Three major elements compose The ProExtender

- A plastic ring with a recess for the urethra which is fastened around the base of the penis;
-  Two metal rods attached to the ring which each contain a spring system inside a hidden tube.
- Following the two rods there is a plastic support provided with two small holes, through which a silicone tube used for fastening the penis glans is passed.

Mounting

Mounting of the ProExtender is done by fastening the plastic ring around the base of the penis, with the penis gland resting in the support and two rods one on each side. The tip of the penis is introduced through an eyelet that is obtained by passing a silicone tube through two holes in the support.

Soreness can be experienced with the ProExtender, in singular cases, by using excessive initial force. A protection pad along with a longer silicone tube are provided for just this case. The longer silicone tube must be mounted instead of the regular one, and the protective pad must be slowly expanded and snugly fit behind the penis gland.
 
To adjust the traction force two thumb screws are placed on the metal rods and will be turned inwards (from600 to 1500g in increments of 300g).  A force no greater than 900g is recommended for the first 2-3 weeks, during this period the ProExtended should not worn more than 4-5 hours a day.  Traction force may be extended to 900 to 1200g during the following weeks and can be increased to 12 hours a day wearing period for 3 to 6 months. 

Turning of the two thumbscrews outward loosen the silicon tube from the support on the Proextender allowing it to be removed. A solution of soapy water or a .5 proof  chlorhexedrine alcohol solution should than be used to clean the devise.
